It began with a bucket of chalk
Eileen's passion for art and design started at age six, when she used to draw chalk drawings on her parents' driveway in Rhode Island. Since that time, her artwork evolved, and in 2016 she graduated from Roger Williams University with a graphic design communications degree. In 2017 she painted her first professional watercolor greeting card design at her kitchen table. Her fascination with aquatic life (and love for a good pun) is the inspiration for her greeting cards.
Today, Eileen Graphics greeting cards are carried in dozens of stores throughout New England and beyond. In 2021 she opened a brick and mortar location during the coronavirus pandemic after being laid off from her graphic design position. It was the push that she needed to realize her own potential and pursue the dream that she always had. Located in Newport's historic district, Sincerely, Eileen carries her entire line as well as other nautical-inspired gifts that she designs.
Eileen lives in Portsmouth, RI with her husband who is an airline pilot, and when she's not at the store, she's on the beach.
